What Is Included in SEO Services

Hello, I am Steve Bonin and as part of my web-design company in Milton, Ontario I do Search Engine Optimization, that is SEO. SEO is complex, varied and ever-changing.

Different markets require diverse attention on aspects of their websites — for some it is ranking and for others it marketing, but there is always one goal — get found & convert visitors to clients.

There are some universal constants that SEO addresses across all websites...
A website should:

Be easy to navigate.
Order information so it is easily found (much of this is done in the navigation)
Have a goal like:
- Sign up for a subscription.
- Make a purchase.
- Contact your company

The complex and varied nature of SEO work lends itself to a retainer model of pricing. I have 4 levels of pricing each with a stipulated minimum number of hours.

My Philosophy of SEO

My philosophy of SEO is fairly simple. As with many things that are simple, they are not easy. I do not go after quick-fixes or the latest fad. My SEO philosophy has always been to focus on visitors and help them find what they want easily and quickly. The other half of this is to make search engines understand that this is what you are doing.

The other axiom I find to be true is the 80/20 rule, i.e. you will get 80% of your revenue from 20% of your clients. So don't try to be all things to all people, find out who is buying from you and focus on them — tailor your website to that customer.

Search Engine Optimization Cost

As mentioned above I have 4 levels of SEO monthly contracts. My contracts have no fixed term and can be terminated upon 30 days notice.

Every client requires different things to market their website. Some require Social Media while others do not, some require regular Blog posting and many require website restructuring. Some of my clients have 5 to 30 pages and others have several hundred pages.

I work on different things for each client so I have constructed different packages for clients to choose from. All packages are paid monthly on the first of the month, minimum of 3 months.

includes 1 to 2 hours per month:

Hosting issues

Cannot include:

Article writing
New page creation

This is a maintenance only package and does not include any SEO work.

Bronze Package

includes 8 hours per month + 2 hours overrun:

$900

Can include

Everything in Maintenance Package
Assigned projects
Google Analytics
AdWords/PPC campaign monitoring or creation
Content creation
New page creation
Automatic Monthly Reporting
Annual Keyword research & implementation
Schema Markup Implementation

All work is to be performed weekly, 2 hours per week. Overruns of 2 hours per month are allowed to finish projects.

Silver Package

includes 16 hours per month + 4 hours overrun:

$1600

Can include:

Everything in Maintenance Package
Assigned projects
Regular content creation
New page creation
Weekly Analytics monitoring
Weekly AdWords/PPC campaign monitoring and adjustments
Automatic Monthly Reporting
Keyword research & implementation
Schema Markup Implementation

Most Popular

All work is to be performed weekly, 4 hours per week. Overruns of 4 hours per month are allowed to finish projects.

Gold Package

includes 24 hours per month + 5 hours overrun:

Can include

Everything in Maintenance Package
Assigned projects
Regular content creation
New page creation
Weekly Analytics monitoring
Weekly AdWords/PPC campaign monitoring and adjustments
Automatic Monthly Reporting

Time can be split across 1-3 websites

This package can be split across 2 or 3 websites All work is to be performed weekly, 6 hours per week. Overruns of 5 hours per month are allowed to finish projects.

Please Note: Overuns are used to finish projects that are well underway and are used at my discretion.
